Granitaş established its first factory in Bilecik in 1989 asa subsidiary of Borusan Holding.Granitaş set out to add diversity and value to our country's natural stones and started its activities in the field of granite, which is the hardest natural building material in nature. Over the years, they have made investments in line with market demands and have become a reliable supplier for all types of natural stones to meet the industry's needs. Today, with the modernizations and new investments made in its Bilecik and Kırşehir factories, Granitaş processes granite and marble varieties using the most modern techniques available.
Granitaş's Bilecik factory has the capability to cut and process granite blocks not only from their own quarries but also from various countries like Norway, Finland, lndia, and Brazil, which are imported with different colors and textures.
Production with high technology.
With the new investment made in Kirsehir Organized Industrial Zone in 2004, our factory has been strategically located close to our quarries, providing transportation advantages in production.
In 2007, with the establishment of factories inside the Sivrihisar and Aksaray quarries, our ST slab production started.
In 2011, new machines were added to our Kirsehir granite factory to increase capacity and meet the growing demand.
Furthermore, in 2016, with the marble investment in Bilecik factory, precious natural stones such as marble, onyx, and travertine obtained from our country's valuable marble quarries were processed through block consolidation, cutting, epoxy, and polishing processes. These finished products were then presented to our fellow marble professionals for their appreciation.
